The reconditioning process

When a piano arrives in our workshop it is first of all completely dismantled and every component is carefully examined and worn or faulty items are repaired or replaced before the piano is re-assembled and tuned to concert pitch.

All of our pianos are meticulously prepared for polishing by our own skilled craftsmen. We ensure the cabinets are polished to their "as new" condition in our purpose built polishing booth.

All dents, scratches and even minor blemishes are completely removed before our pianos are offered for sale. Our modern hi-tech polishing plant ensures we obtain the highest quality finish possible.

Our craftsmen and technicians can carry out a complete piano rebuild if required, including frame re-guilding, re-stringing, soundboard repairs and action work.

These services are not restricted to our own pianos. We also provide a nationwide polishing service for all makes of pianos, to both the trade and general public.
